About the Competition

Put your data science skills to the test in a fast-paced, collaborative competition! In this 4-hour challenge, you’ll tackle a curated Kaggle competition, designed to simulate real-world problem-solving under time pressure.

Participants will form teams of two or compete solo to explore data, build predictive models, and iterate quickly. Expect a hands-on experience that blends creativity, analytics, and friendly competition. Whether you have experience with Kaggle or are just starting out, this is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills and meet other passionate students.

What to expect:

  • A beginner- to intermediate-level Kaggle challenge
  • Prizes for the top-performing teams or individuals
  • A collaborative environment with plenty of peer exchange

What you need:

  • Bring your own laptop and peripherals
  • Software environment to work on the problem – including a Kaggle Account
  • Prior experience with Python and common data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) is recommended
