Celonis x ADSC - Process Mining Workshop

About the Process Mining Workshop

Join us for an interactive Process Mining Workshop hosted at the Celonis Engineering and Innovation Lab on RWTH Aachen’s Melaten campus. The event will be hosted by Sebastiaan van Zelst (Team Lead Innovation Process Mining) and Sebastian Vaaßen (Senior Software Engineer), supported by Master’s students currently writing their theses with Celonis. Together they will let you dive into the world of process mining, and into the working life at the Celonis Innovation Lab Aachen.

What to Expect:

We will kick off with a brief introduction to process mining, Celonis, and the Aachen Lab, followed by a walkthrough of the use case and how to explore and analyze data using Celonis software. You will then split into small teams to explore and analyze a case-centric pizza delivery process. Afterwards, we will come together to discuss your findings. This will be followed by an outlook on object-centric process mining, the area of process mining that is worked on in the Aachen Lab. We will conclude the evening with a networking session, giving you the chance to connect with Celonis professionals and fellow students in an informal setting.

Celonis

In a digital world, efficiency, agility, and process transparency are the success factors. Organizations need to avoid bottlenecks, optimize processes, and act quickly. Process mining is a technology that, like an X-ray machine, makes it possible to find inefficiencies in process data and identify their causes. Celonis was founded in Munich in 2011 by three students and is now the world’s leading provider of process mining software with more than 3,000 academic employees, more than $100 million in revenue, and more than $13 billion in enterprise value (a so-called “unicorn”). As Team Lead Innovation Process Mining, Sebastiaan van Zelst shows how Celonis analyzes data, enables data-driven decisions, and makes organizations more efficient.
