About the Workshop

Oliver Borchert, a data scientist and software engineer working with some of Germany’s largest insurance companies, will lead an interactive workshop on data visualization. After a theoretical introduction, you will have the chance to try different approaches with the data we provide. Data visualizations are helpful when communicating results from data analyses, both in industry and academia.

Afterward, there will be a Get-Together with colleagues from several QuantCo teams, and food will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about potential career paths in the industry and meet with QuantCo in an informal setting. The event will take place at Hotel INNSiDE by Meliá, starting at 20:00 pm. Since there are limited spots available, we ask you to apply for the Get-Together until April 30th. We will get back to you on May 2nd.

The workshop is open to all students and no application is required. We ask you to register via the following form so that we can get an overview and remind you of the workshop. In addition to the workshop registration you can apply for the exclusive Get-Together with QuantCo afterwards. Due to capacity constraints, we can only accept a limited number of participants. If you do not wish to apply for the get-together, you do not need to attach a CV in the following form. Please note that we can only consider responses with a CV for the Get-Together application.
